Suresh Raina to miss to IPL-13 for personal reasons | Cricket News

CHENNAI: A day after members of the Chennai Super Kings tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus, the side was dealt with another blow when their star player Suresh Raina returned to India and will not be part of the IPL-13.
Chennai Super Kings made the announcement on their social media handle on Saturday morning. “Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time,” Kasi Viswanathan, the team’s CEO, said via a tweet on CSK’s official Twitter handle.
Suresh Raina has been a vital cog in the team ever since the first season of the IPL in 2008. His absence will be a big blow for CSK ahead of the competition.
On Friday, India pacer Deepak Chahar and other members of the side had tested positive after landing in Dubai last week.
