Anyone for tennis with Wolves Foundation?

Any keen doubles pairs can make a ‘racket’ and take on Manny and Dave which is not only great exercise but also to the ‘advantage’ of the charity at the same time.

It has already been ‘Game, Set and Match’ for several players who have taken the guys on, including former Wolves midfielder Dale Rudge and his wife Lynsey.

The tennis matches are the latest in a long line of generous support given by Manny and Dave to the Foundation.

“Volunteering is compulsory for the wellbeing of others but also my own too,” says Manny.

“It’s a tenant of my faith and existence and I’m honoured to help in any way that I can.

“Football is more than just the game itself – the Foundation does some brilliant work in our home town and beyond – and has suffered like many charities during this pandemic with many of its activities curtailed.

“The tennis is fate.

“I played with my boys for enjoyment, Dave came and joined in one day and it just happened naturally and we’ve played fellow supporters and also Dale and Lynsey so far.”

Dazzling Dave runs his own You Tube channel and podcast on Wolves which he uses to promote the Foundation’s activities.

He says:  “The Foundation does so much good for so many people of different ages and backgrounds and since I took part in raising funds at the Molineux Sleepout I wanted to help in any small way I can.

“Being able to support the Foundation’s work by assisting in raising awareness through my YouTube channel and the Always Wolves podcast I co-host with Manny, hopefully helps people discover Foundation programmes that either they, or someone they know, can benefit from.

“I will continue to do that and help raise funds for the Foundation in any small way that I can.

“We hope to see more supporters and maybe some Foundation ambassadors joining us for a game of tennis and raising more money while the weather holds.

“It’s good fun and great to connect.”

Anyone who fancies a game, in return for making a donation to be split between the Foundation and Dementia UK, can drop the guys a message on Twitter @pedalsingh or @_DazzlingDave.
